1. Who processes your data

The data controller is Cormidi S.r.l., Via Fonte 342, 84069 Roccadaspide (SA), Italia, P. IVA 03053170654. For any questions about this policy, or to exercise the rights described in point 7, you can write to ceo@cormidi.com.

2. What data we collect, and why

Contact, quote and information requests

When you fill in a form on the site we collect the data you enter: first name and last name, company, email address, phone number, country and the text of the request, together with the machine or configuration you are interested in. We use them to reply to you and to manage the commercial relationship arising from your request. Without this data we cannot contact you again.

Requests are stored in an internal archive on the site, accessible only to Cormidi staff and to the dealers responsible for your area, and forwarded by email to the people who handle them.

Configurator

If you use the configurator to put together a machine, we keep track of the chosen configuration together with the quote request, so that we can give you an offer consistent with what you have selected.

Virtual assistant

The site provides an assistant that answers questions about products. The text you write in the chat is sent to Anthropic PBC (Stati Uniti), the artificial intelligence service provider that generates the response, and processed according to its terms. Do not write personal data that are not necessary in the chat: for requests concerning yourself or your company, use the contact forms.

Dealer reserved area

If you are a dealer or an agent with access to the reserved area, we process your account data (name, email, company, role) and the activities you carry out within the area, in order to make it function and for the management of the commercial relationship.

Navigation data

Like every website, the servers automatically record the IP address, date and time of the request, requested page and browser type. They are used to make the site work, keep it secure and diagnose faults.

Cookies and third-party tools

The site uses cookies and third-party services described in the cookie policy, which is an integral part of this policy.

3. On which legal bases

  • Pre-contractual measures and contract (art. 6.1.b GDPR): to respond to your requests, provide quotes and manage the relationship with customers and dealers.
  • Legitimate interest (art. 6.1.f): for the security of the site and the defense of our rights.
  • Consent (art. 6.1.a): for cookies and the statistical and marketing tools described in the cookie policy. Consent can be withdrawn at any time.
  • Legal obligation (art. 6.1.c): for tax and accounting obligations.

4. Who we share data with

The data is not sold or transferred to third parties for their own purposes. It may be processed, on our behalf and on our instructions, by:

  • the provider hosting the website and email;
  • Cormidi dealers and distributors responsible for your territory, when your request concerns a machine they handle;
  • Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC, for visit statistics;
  • Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd., for marketing activities;
  • Google LLC (YouTube), for videos embedded in the pages;
  • Anthropic PBC (United States), for the operation of the virtual assistant;
  • consultants, accountants and IT service providers, within the limits of their respective assignments.

5. Transfers outside the European Union

Some of the providers listed above are based in the United States. In that case, the transfer takes place on the basis of the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission or, where applicable, the adequacy decision for the EU-US data protection framework.

6. How long we retain them

Commercial requests are retained for 24 months from the last contact, unless the request gives rise to a contractual relationship: in that case, the statutory terms under tax and civil law apply. Reserved area accounts remain active for the duration of the commercial relationship. Server logs are retained for the time technically necessary.

7. Your rights

You can ask us at any time to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict its processing, receive it in a machine-readable format, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it without affecting the validity of what was done before. Write to ceo@cormidi.comwe respond within one month.

8. Complaint

If you believe that the processing of your data violates Regulation (EU) 2016/679, you can lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it) or with the supervisory authority of the country where you live.

9. Changes

If we change the way we handle data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
